By Megan Leonhardt (February 14, 2012, 2:27 PM EST) -- Atomic Precision Systems Inc. on Monday lodged a suit in California federal court alleging several companies involved in semiconductor technology, including Intel Corp. and IBM Corp., infringed a patent covering atomic layer deposition technology.
Atomic Precision claims South Korea-based Jusung Engineering Co. produced, imported sold atomic layer deposition products to its customers Intel, IBM and Micron Technology Inc. that incorporated the California company's patented technology.
"Jusung Korea has been and now is infringing the [Atomic Precision] patent in ... the United States by, among other things, making, using, importing, offering to sell and/or selling in the United States atomic layer deposition...
