Lagunitas Drops IPA Trademark Suit After Web Firestorm

By Bill Donahue (January 14, 2015, 7:49 PM EST) -- After a backlash on social media, Lagunitas Brewing Co. moved Wednesday to drop its trademark lawsuit against craft brew rival Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. over the use of the acronym "IPA" on labels for India pale ale, just two days after the suit was filed.
