Law360, New York (April 27, 2016, 8:46 PM EDT) -- With approval Wednesday from the U.S. House of Representatives, a major federal overhaul of American trade secrets law is now headed to President Barack Obama for his almost certain signature.

Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., a co-sponsor of the House version of the DTSA, said the bill "would protect businesses across the country from the growing threat of trade secrets theft."
