Calif. Brewery Can Register Neighborhood Name, TTAB Says

Law360, New York (February 16, 2017, 5:15 PM EST) -- The Trademark Trial and Appeal Board ruled Tuesday that a craft brewer called Oak Park Brewing Co. could register its logo as a trademark, saying the “Oak Park” neighborhood of Sacramento, California, was too obscure a location to warrant a refusal.
