Trump's Pick For No. 2 Commerce Position Bows Out

Law360, Washington (April 20, 2017, 6:30 PM EDT) -- President Donald Trump’s pick for the No. 2 spot at the Department of Commerce, Todd Ricketts, has withdrawn his nomination for the position, according to a Wednesday report from the Chicago Sun-Times.

Ricketts, according to the Sun-Times, withdrew his nomination over concerns from the Office of Government Ethics about potential conflicts of interest stemming from his investments in family holdings, including ownership of the World Series champion Chicago Cubs.
