Texas Roadhouse Ends TM Beef With Rival Restaurant

Law360, New York (December 5, 2017, 7:18 PM EST) -- Texas Roadhouse Inc. and Texas Corral Restaurants Inc. have agreed to end Roadhouse's trademark infringement suit over a logo featuring a map of the state of Texas wearing a cowboy hat, according to documents filed in Indiana federal court Tuesday, with both parties agreeing to bear their own costs.

Louisville, Kentucky-based restaurant giant Texas Roadhouse, which operates 485 eateries, and the smaller, Indiana-based restaurant chain Texas Corral, which operates 10, stipulated in their agreement that the case may be dismissed with prejudice. The agreement was reached...
