Chinese Cybersecurity Law Giving Companies Headaches

Law360, New York (December 6, 2017, 9:09 PM EST) -- Four out of five businesses feel uneasy about China’s new national cybersecurity law, which could force them to divulge data security measures to Chinese authorities, according to a poll released on Wednesday.

Companies surveyed by the U.S.-China Business Council overwhelmingly said that they are “somewhat or very concerned” with how Beijing’s new data security regulations, which came into effect in June, will impact their business in the world’s second largest economy.
