DOL Sec. Walsh Will Face Ex-Employee's Wrongful Firing Suit

Law360 (June 9, 2021, 2:18 PM EDT) -- U.S. Department of Labor Secretary Marty Walsh and the city of Boston will have to face part of a suit filed by a former city employee who claims the then-mayor led a biased sexual harassment investigation against him in order to eliminate a political rival.

U.S. District Judge Denise J. Casper ruled Tuesday that Felix Arroyo can pursue claims for wrongful termination and breach of covenant of good faith and fair dealing, even as she tossed four other counts.
