Guggenheim Probed For Ties To Banned Junk Bond King

Law360, New York (February 27, 2013, 11:44 PM EST) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating the link between Los Angeles Dodgers owner Guggenheim Partners LLC  and erstwhile junk bond investor Michael Milken, who spent nearly two years behind bars for securities fraud, according to Wednesday news reports.

The regulator is inquiring into whether Milken’s relationship with Guggenheim breaches his lifetime ban from the securities industry, according to Fortune, which cited anonymous sources.
