Texas Appeals Court Nixes Suit Over Cancer Patient’s Death

Law360, Dallas (June 14, 2017, 5:16 PM EDT) -- A Texas appellate court on Tuesday rejected a bid to restore a suit accusing a doctor and hospital of providing negligent post-surgical care to a cancer patient who died, holding the patient’s estate was not entitled to more time to designate an expert medical witness.
