Ky. High Court Says Med Mal Suit Can Proceed Sans Expert

Law360, Los Angeles (June 16, 2017, 8:22 PM EDT) -- A split Kentucky Supreme Court allowed to move forward on Thursday a suit accusing a surgeon of failing to inform a patient of a risk associated with a device implantation procedure, saying the trial judge was too quick to dismiss the case for lack of a medical expert.
