Florida PE Firm Rounds Up $187M For Restaurant Investments

Law360, New York (September 20, 2013, 3:33 PM EDT) -- Private equity firm Prometheus Partners raised $186.5 million from 17 private investors earlier this month and invested it in membership interests in seven restaurant operating companies, according to the company's September SEC filing.

Prometheus invests in franchises such as Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and IHOP, concentrating primarily on the Southeastern United States, according to the company's website. It's one of the largest franchise holders of those restaurants.
