Tribe, Enviros Take Aim At BLM For Mine Project Approvals

Law360, New York (December 4, 2017, 9:57 PM EST) -- An Alaskan tribe and three conservation groups on Monday launched a federal court challenge to U.S. Bureau of Land Management decisions that have allowed a mining exploration in a watershed in the southeast part of the state to proceed, saying the agency hasn't appropriately considered the environmental impacts.
