Ex-NJ AG Tapped By Gov. For Staff Sex Assault Investigations

Law360 (October 22, 2018, 3:33 PM EDT) -- Former New Jersey Attorney General Christopher Porrino, now a partner with Lowenstein Sandler LLP, has been tapped by Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy to assist his administration in investigations into sexual assault allegations against a former staffer, representing the latest high-profile attorney to become involved with the probes.

Porrino, who returned to the Lowenstein Sandler in January after serving as the state's top law enforcement officer under ex-Republican Gov. Chris Christie, on Monday confirmed that he has been retained to help the Murphy administration in responding to inquiries about Albert J. Alvarez.
