Another Doctor Indicted In NJ Blood Lab Bribery Scheme

Law360, New York (January 10, 2017, 5:01 PM EST) -- A 31st physician has been accused of taking part in a $100 million test referral scam operated by the defunct clinical lab Biodiagnostic Laboratory Services LLC, New Jersey federal prosecutors announced Tuesday.

Salvatore Conte, 52, was indicted on one count of conspiring to violate the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Federal Travel Act and wire fraud, and then three counts of violating each of those acts, for a total of 10 charges.
