Apple Hit With Suit Over NYC Man's Exploding IPhone

Law360 (November 8, 2018, 7:06 PM EST) -- A New York City resident on Thursday hit Apple Inc. with a suit in state court, alleging that he was "caused to suffer and sustain severe bodily injuries" when his iPhone 6S exploded.

James Guerrero said in his brief complaint that he was using the iPhone "in accordance with its intended use" on July 19, 2017, when the wildly popular smartphone "exploded, causing plaintiff to suffer severe bodily injuries."
