Pa. Court Affirms Limit On Asbestos Wrongful Death Suits

Law360, New York (March 20, 2015, 2:04 PM EDT) -- The Pennsylvania Superior Court ruled Thursday that a two-year statute of limitations applies to asbestos-related wrongful death claims and is initiated upon knowledge of an asbestos-related injury, rejecting a plaintiff's contention that the law is ambiguous and she should be allowed to sue General Electric Co. on a decedent's behalf.
