Senate Committee Advances Cybersecurity Data Sharing Bill

Law360, New York (July 8, 2014, 8:15 PM EDT) -- The Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday advanced a cybersecurity bill intended to boost the sharing of threat information between the private sector and government entities, after receiving support from the retail and financial industries and staunch opposition from privacy groups that fear the divulged data will be misused.
