CoreLogic Battles Renewed Class Cert. Bid In Records Row

Law360, New York (April 14, 2017, 6:32 PM EDT) -- CoreLogic National Background Data LLC blasted a renewed bid for class certification in Virginia federal court litigation alleging the criminal record data provider harmed job applicants by misattributing others' crimes to them, arguing Thursday that the proposed class is based on arguments the court already rejected and requires individual inquiries.

U.S. District Judge Robert Payne previously denied Tyrone Henderson and James Hines' bid to certify a nationwide class and their request to certify a slimmer class fares no better, NBD argued, contending that the first job seeker isn't even part of the proposed class and the latter hasn't shown any injury...
