By Chelsea Naso ( January 22, 2015, 7:01 PM EST) -- Venture capital-backed cloud storage provider Box Inc. raised $175 million in its long-anticipated initial public offering Thursday evening, after the California-based tech startup's 12.5 million shares priced at $14 apiece, above their set range, according to various media reports citing an underwriter. Based on Box's offering price, the tech startup earned a valuation of $1.67 billion. The startup's shares are expected to start trading Friday on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "BOX."...
