Admiral Insurance Settles PCL Construction Coverage Row

Law360, New York (June 27, 2012, 12:13 PM EDT) -- PCL Construction Services and Admiral Insurance Co. told a California federal court Tuesday that they had settled PCL's lawsuit alleging Admiral owed it coverage for claims related to a subcontractor's allegedly faulty work on an office building construction project.

U.S. District Judge Michael M. Anello approved the agreement, the details of which were not disclosed. PCL had initiated the suit in November, saying Admiral had failed to fulfill its obligations under a policy it issued to subcontractor Alonso Painting with PCL listed as an additional insured....
