NHTSA Tells Volkswagen, Others It May Expand Takata Recall
Law360, New York (September 28, 2015, 8:57 PM EDT) -- The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has told Volkswagen America and six other automakers not part of the current Takata air bag recall that the agency may expand the recall as it reviews the root causes behind the deadly rupture of the Japanese parts maker's inflators, according to letters made public Friday.
