GM Wants To Delay Recall Of 980K Cars With Takata Air Bags

Law360, New York (September 16, 2016, 9:38 PM EDT) -- General Motors has asked the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to push back by one year the recall of about 980,000 cars with the now-notorious Takata air bags on the grounds that the air bags don’t pose an unreasonable risk, according to a petition made public on Friday.
