UK Cos. Say Breach Reporting Plan Won't Curb Cyberthreats

Law360, New York (September 24, 2013, 6:10 PM EDT) -- Critical infrastructure operators in the U.K. have raised concerns that a mandatory security breach reporting regime proposed by the European Commission would conflict with existing regulations and create a culture that focuses on compliance rather than curbing intrusions, the U.K. government revealed Friday.
