Deals Rumor Mill: Sears, SoftBank, Athenahealth

By Adam Rhodes (October 12, 2018, 7:11 PM EDT) -- Embattled retailer Sears Holdings Corp. plans to close as many as 150 of its stores as part of its restructuring plan, Reuters reported on Friday. According to the report, the retailer, which is rumored to be nearing bankruptcy, is also planning on keeping at least 300 other department and discount stores open under that plan. The report comes after a suburban Chicago school district sued Sears earlier this week, alleging the struggling retailer has diverted tens of millions away from local schools through property tax breaks that didn't live up to their promise to create jobs. That same day, Reuters reported that the retailer was getting ready to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy....
