Centric Brands Creditors Pause Plan Deadline Objection
By Rick Archer (September 1, 2020, 3:06 PM EDT) -- Centric Brands and its unsecured creditors Tuesday told a New York bankruptcy judge that they will put off the question of when the brand management firm will lose the exclusive right to file a Chapter 11 plan until they learn the fate of its current proposed plan.
At a remote hearing, Centric and its unsecured creditors committee told U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Sean Lane that they had come to an agreement to postpone considering the committee's objection to Centric's request to extend the plan deadline until after the scheduled Sept. 17 confirmation hearing for the current proposed plan.
