Wal-Mart Settles With Women In Fla. Gender Bias Suit

Law360, New York (October 20, 2015, 2:49 PM EDT) -- Wal-Mart has settled a regional gender discrimination suit filed against it by women in a Florida federal court, resolving claims lodged after the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark Dukes decision disbanded a nationwide class.

The retailer and a group of women led by Zenovida Love on Thursday officially settled the three-year-old suit for an undisclosed amount, according to a stipulated dismissal they filed jointly about two months after initially notifying the court of their compact.
