Deals Rumor Mill: Petrobras, SenseTime, Staples

By Benjamin Horney (October 31, 2017, 7:57 PM EDT) -- Brazilian state-controlled oil giant Petrobras has received expressions of interest from at least 20 suitors for a 90 percent interest in Transportadora Associada de Gás SA, a gas pipeline network known as TAG, according to a Tuesday report from Reuters. According to the report, Engie SA, Pátria Investimentos Ltda, Mubadala Development Co., Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and EIG Global Energy Partners LLC are among those who may look to acquire the controlling TAG stake. The first round of nonbinding offers is due in by the end of November, the report said, and a deal could ultimately be worth more than $5.2 billion. TAG owns 4,500 kilometers of natural gas pipelines in northeast Brazil....
