Drinker Biddle Adds Ex-US Prosecutor In Chicago
Law360, Los Angeles (February 11, 2013, 6:06 PM EST) -- A former assistant U.S. attorney and trial lawyer with experience investigating securities fraud and trade violations has joined Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP as a partner in its commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense practice groups in Chicago, the firm announced Monday.
Daniel J. Collins, who has 10 years of experience as a federal prosecutor in Illinois, recently completed the prosecution of international terrorist David Headley in a case described in media accounts as “the most significant terrorism case ever prosecuted in Chicago,” according to Drinker Biddle.
Collins said Drinker Biddle’s efforts surrounding global trade most interested him.
