Taylor English Nabs Ex-Baker Donelson Securities Partner

By Chelsea Naso (February 19, 2014, 3:42 PM EST) -- Taylor English Duma LLP bulked its corporate law practice by adding former Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz PC partner David Cooper, who brings with him intricate securities, mergers and acquisitions and accounting experience, the Atlanta-based firm said.

Cooper joined Baker Donelson as a partner in 2007 when it merged with his previous firm, Gambrell & Stolz, and spent his last year as senior counsel, Cooper said. Although he originally put his accounting background to work in tax law, he was hooked to corporate and securities law after experiencing a taste of it.
