Unsigned NFL Anthem Protester Files Collusion Grievance

By Zachary Zagger (May 2, 2018, 8:13 PM EDT) -- Former San Francisco 49ers safety Eric Reid, who joined Colin Kaepernick in national anthem protests, has lodged a collusion grievance under the NFL collective bargaining agreement after going unsigned since the end of last season, the players union confirmed Wednesday.

Reid is apparently alleging that teams have blackballed him for joining in on the anthem protests, which had spread across the league and became a hot-button issue, particularly after the players were criticized by President Donald Trump.
