Tennis Investigators To Review 3 Wimbledon Matches

Law360, New York (July 20, 2017, 4:47 PM EDT) -- The Tennis Integrity Unit said Wednesday it will investigate three Wimbledon matches, including a main draw match, and a French Open match for potential match-fixing after receiving alerts from betting regulators. The investigations come after several news reports that the tennis investigators have been sitting on evidence.

The TIU received a total of three alerts for matches at Wimbledon, formally known as the The Championships, Wimbledon, including two matches in the qualifying rounds and one in the main draw, in addition to an alert for a match at the French Open, also called Roland-Garros.
