Judge Denies Extra Discovery In Fla. Rail Bond Challenge

Law360, New York (January 10, 2017, 1:55 PM EST) -- A D.C. federal judge on Monday denied two counties' request for hastened jurisdictional discovery in a challenge to the U.S. Department of Transportation's approval of $1.75 billion in tax-exempt bonds for a Miami-to-Orlando passenger railroad, ruling that voluntarily produced documents are likely to provide the court with a sufficient record.
