FTC Warns App Marketers Of Potential FCRA Violations

Law360, New York (February 7, 2012, 9:55 PM EST) -- The Federal Trade Commission has warned the marketers of six mobile phone applications that provide background reports that their apps may violate the Fair Credit Reporting Act if they are used for employment, housing, credit or other similar screening purposes, the agency said Tuesday.
