By Benjamin Horney ( February 18, 2015, 5:30 PM EST) -- Snapchat Inc., the company behind the popular mobile device app that allows user to, among other things, send messages and pictures that vanish after a select number of seconds, is in the midst of a fundraising round that could value the company at as much as $19 billion, according to a Wednesday report from the New York Times. The report said Snapchat could raise up to $500 million in the round of financing. If the $19 billion valuation turns out to be true, it would mean that Snapchat's value has risen by at least $9 billion since October, when reports had the company valued at $10 billion....
