FCC Urged To Create Reassigned Phone Number Database

Law360 (June 13, 2018, 10:32 PM EDT) -- A retail industry association, Comcast Corp. and several others are continuing to throw their support behind a Federal Communications Commission proposal to create a database of reassigned phone numbers that would come with a liability shield for those who use it, saying the move would reduce both unwanted calls and “abusive” litigation.
