Retiring Dallas Judge To Head Gray Reed Appellate Practice

Law360, Dallas (July 31, 2014, 8:05 PM EDT) -- A Dallas Court of Appeals judge who is retiring in August after 18 years on the bench will join Gray Reed & McGraw PC as the head of the firm’s newly formed appellate section, the firm announced Thursday.

Justice Jim Moseley, who announced his retirement in June, had good relationships with several Gray Reed lawyers, and when they called him after he said he’d be stepping down, he was listening. He told Law360 on Thursday that “one thing led to another,” and the firm ultimately made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.
