Judge Cuts Trans Worker's Bias Suit Against Truck Body Co.
Law360 (November 28, 2018, 3:30 PM EST) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge has hit the brakes on a biracial and transgender former employee's discrimination suit against truck body manufacturer Supreme Mid-Atlantic Corp.
U.S. District Judge Christopher C. Conner on Tuesday granted Supreme's bid to dismiss almost all of a discrimination and retaliation suit from Christian McKinney — a trans man with one black and one white parent — letting stand only part of his allegations that he faced racial bias. He alleged he was discriminated against for a number of reasons, including his race and gender identity.
