Senate Confirms Trump's Pick For EPA Enforcement Chief

Law360, New York (December 7, 2017, 2:18 PM EST) -- The U.S. Senate on Thursday confirmed Susan Bodine, a former chief counsel for the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee and a onetime Barnes & Thornburg LLP partner, to head up the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's enforcement arm.

Bodine, who became the committee's top attorney in January 2015 and left that position in August, now steps into the role of assistant administrator for the EPA's Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance.
