      The Trademark Trial and Appeal Board has decided for the first time that the Controlled Substances Act — which prohibits a federal trademark from being issued to a brand name primarily used to sell cannabis products — still applies in the age of state-level legalization, rejecting an appeal over a line of "dabbing" products that are sold legally in the state of Colorado.
