Orlando & Braun Partner Charged With Bankruptcy Fraud

Law360, New York (February 19, 2014, 7:11 PM EST) -- A partner with Houston-based law firm Orlando & Braun LLP has been arrested on charges that he committed bankruptcy fraud by failing to disclose a conflict of interest in a Chapter 11 case, Texas authorities said Wednesday.

Calvin C. Braun, a bankruptcy lawyer who has practiced in Harris and Fort Bend counties for 16 years, according to his law firm biography, appeared in Texas district court on counts of bankruptcy fraud and making false declarations to a bankruptcy court.
