Ex-MillerCoors Exec, Others Charged With $7M Fraud Scheme

Law360, New York (May 6, 2015, 5:11 PM EDT) -- Federal prosecutors on Wednesday filed charges accusing a former MillerCoors LLC vice president and seven others of running a $7 million scheme to defraud the brewing giant by billing it for promotional and media events that never took place.

In his position of overseeing marketing and beer sales, David Colletti submitted false estimates and invoices for third-party vendors that claimed to be organizing promotional events, prosecutors said in their 20-count wire and mail fraud indictment.
