During her career, Bonnie has written articles and opinion pieces for Newsweek, the San Francisco Chronicle, KQED, the Oakland Tribune, and other news outlets. She also founded and edited a magazine for women travelers.
She has appeared as a guest panelist on the KQED public television show “This week in Northern California,” KQED radio, and San Francisco’s Comcast City Desk Newshour.
Bonnie has a master’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Journalism, where she was chosen by her graduating class to give a speech at their commencement. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from California State University, Fullerton.
