Manor Care Elder Abuse Claim Revived By Calif. Court

Law360, San Francisco (March 20, 2017, 5:17 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court on Friday revived an elder abuse claim in a wrongful death suit against HCR Manor Care Inc., finding the patient’s estate had adequately alleged the nursing facility provided only sporadic care and failed to safeguard against her falling, which was the reason she’d been admitted.
