Legislative Push Likely As Economy Improves

Law360 (May 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- President Obama has spent his first four months in office focusing on the economic crisis, but lawyers expect to see a push to enact labor and employment-related legislation that the president has long supported, if the economy continues to improve.

Though many of the bills that Obama backed as a senator have yet to become law, his time in the White House has been largely consistent with expectations, attorneys say.
