Adelphia Creditors' Fraud Claims Get Green Light

Law360 (May 7, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has refused to dismiss all but one of the claims in a fraud suit brought by creditors of collapsed telecommunications giant Adelphia Communications Corp. against a slew of banks, including Citigroup Inc., Deutsche Bank AG and Bank of America Corp.

Judge Lawrence McKenna of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Wednesday denied the defendants' motion to dismiss multiple fraud claims but granted their motion to dismiss a fraudulent concealment claim against the investment bank defendants.
