Gucci Sues Guess For ‘Gucci-Izing’ Product Designs

Law360, New York (May 7, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Gucci America Inc. claims in a new lawsuit that Guess Inc. infringed multiple Gucci trademarks in an attempt to “Gucci-ize” its product line and profit from the luxury brand’s reputation.

Gucci filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Tuesday to stop Guess from selling apparel and handbags it says knock off Gucci designs.
