Agent Pleads Guilty To NY Pension Kickback Plot

Law360, New York (May 12, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Julio Ramirez, an unlicensed placement agent formerly with Wetherly Capital Group, has pled guilty to charges of securities fraud in connection with the pension fund kickback probe roiling the New York state Democratic Party, New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo announced Tuesday.
