Uthe’s RICO Harm Theory New To Appeal, 9th Circ. Says

Law360, San Francisco (February 14, 2018, 10:37 PM EST) -- Uthe Technology Corp. urged the Ninth Circuit on Wednesday to revive its Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act suit, arguing the semiconductor company suffered a direct harm when it was defrauded into selling a “thriving” subsidiary and prompting the judges to complain Uthe was raising a new injury theory for the first time on appeal.
