API Sues Yahoo, Google, Others Over Network Patent

Law360 (May 13, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- API Technologies LLC has hit 24 Internet companies, including Yahoo Inc., Google Inc., Amazon.com Inc. and Facebook Inc., with an infringement suit over a data network patent.

The suit, filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, revolves around a patent the company was issued in 2005 relating to a data transmission network system.
